Customer Review: NOT THE SAME PRODUCT!!!
I have owned numerous pairs of Peltor WorkTunes 25's and this is not the same model. I noticed after receiving them that they had minor diferences than those that I have purchased elsewhere. I have talked to Peltor and they informed me that this is not the normal WorkTune 25-the normal model is Peltor #HRX79A GU. I am tired of large stores having manufacturers make cheap knock offs to make more profit!!
Customer Review: Excellent product
I have owned the peltor work tunes for a couple of years now and they work excellent. FM radio comes in really well and holds stations with no problem. AM is clear for the most part but the stations do tend to fade in and out with a lot of movement. Especially when I am mowing my yard. The headset is very comfortable and I have worn them for up to 3 hours at a time without any discomfort. I highly recommend them for the price.

Peltor MT15H7B SV Tactical Pro Behind the Ear Hearing Protector

The Tactical Pro Hearing Protector provides a unique response amplification and impulse noise suppresion to 82 dB. Ergonomic controls and padded headband. Behind the neck headband feature allows for hats and helmets to be worn.
Customer Review: Non standard mono audio jack
Turning on the electronics requires pressing and holding the on/off button. Do this while wearing the hearing protectors and you'll be punished with an incredibly loud and annoying BEEP. The on BEEP is different than the off BEEP, there is no way to reduce the volume of these BEEPS. The volume controls are on the same side as the on/off button. Fortunately they are slightly different shapes. There is an audio in jack, but it isn't a standard 1/8" mini plug or even a 3/32" sub mini plug. You will need a special adapter to plug into a radio or iPod. The input jack is incapable of providing true stereo listening. There are only two not the required three poles for stereo. The optional (not included) "stereo" cable just mixes the channels to both ears. I found the not included "Stereo Cable for Peltor Electronic Muffs-FL6N (3.5mm plug)" available from other web sellers for twenty five dollars! Headphones are capable of amplifying normal sounds above ambient levels, in quiet environments you'll be able to hear things that normally go unnoticed. The microphones do work in stereo to allow for directional hearing. The manual lists the attenuation dB values as H 31, M 29, L 25. The ISO 4869-1 EN 352-4 grade is A, and unit meets 89/336/EEC. These specs puts these headphones near the top of available headphones. Overkill for mowing the yard, more suitable for indoor shooting ranges. AA batteries are included. Substitute Lithium AA for lighter weight and corrosive leak protection.

The first product I received was defective. I called Amazon and they could not have been more helpful in getting me a replacement extremely quickly. The second product I received was fine. Peltor M2RX7A Alert AM/FM Radio Headset

This all-purpose Peltor Alert AM/FM radio headset is ideal for work, shooting events, races, or professional landscaping. It combines an AM and FM radio with electronic listening capability so that you can listen to your favorite station without being isolated from your environment. The Peltor Alert also has an audio jack for both radio and scanner connections, as well as a noise reduction level of 24dBA. This attractive radio headset comes in a matte red finish and requires two AA batteries (not included).
Customer Review: Best thing since sliced bread!
I bought a pair of these to use while mowing the grass. The noise reduction quality is fantastic, super quiet. The FM radio reception works great, no issue. The AM radio reception is positional but acceptable. Now the neighbors won't have to listen to me singing at the top of my lungs while I am on the tractor! I would buy this item again and I highly recomend them.
Customer Review: Great while it lasted
The sound and reception was great for about 5 mins. Then a limb knocked it off my head and under the bushhog it went, so I can't afford another 100.00 headphone so I'll do some thing else. BUT it WAS Nice!

Peltor Junior Earmuff, Blue #97023

Peltor Junior Earmuffs are designed expressly for protecting smaller heads from noise while hunting and shooting.
Customer Review: Works great for yard work, the shop, vacuuming
These allow my toddler sons to join me in the yard when I'm mowing the lawn or using the weedeater. With the mower and trimmer we also use safety glasses and observe precautions due to the hot motor, spinning blade and potentially flying debris. We also use the earmuffs in the shop with the vacuum and air compressor. Our shop is all hand tools but if we had power tools we'd use these for those too. I also wear an adult size set of earmuffs, and safety glasses. I even encourage my wife to use these vacuuming in the house. Hearing is easier to damage than a lot of folks think. We're no sissies either. My two year old helped me rebuild the motor on the mower and sharpen the blade last year. We also rebuilt a junk air compressor we got free. Now it's a cast iron workhorse. My boys were right there with me, becoming little men, and they're keeping safe too.
Customer Review: Great for Sensitives
My 3-year-old son has hyper-sensitive hearing. Blenders, lawn mowers, loud fans, etc sound *really* loud to him. He used to cover his eyes and ears with his 'blankie' in fear when he'd hear a loud noise. After talking with his therapist, I decided to get him a pair of these headphones. They've made a huge difference for us. Before I vacuum, I warn him it's going to be loud and offer him the headphones. He always says YES! He's no longer afraid of the vacuum. Same with the mower, blender... We bring it to the zoo with us because they have robo-tronic noises that used to FREAK him out. Now he's cool with it. It's so much better with these headphones. You can still hear voices really well with these on. (I've tried them myself while stretching them out). It's just the loud, droning-type noises that are quieted. Also, they *are* adjustable. The ear-cup thingy's slide down the metal wires to make them bigger. Totally worth the money for us.

Peltor 97011 Shotgunner Hearing Protector

The Shotgunner Hearing Protector is a very compact muff. The low profile cups make it perfect for the trap or skeet shooter.
Customer Review: Peltor 97011 Shotgun Hearing Protector
I recently purchased this hearing proctor and I have to say it is money well spent. I go to the range once a month and these things work great. They are confortable and block out all the noise and shock wave of my handgun. I was hesitant to buy these because of the low price and I don't believe there is anything on the market to compare.
Customer Review: very nice earmuffs, though possibly not the best
These earmuffs are quite good. I am a firm believer in the Peltor brand now. However, depending on what you're using them for, you may be better suited getting a different kind, such as the Peltor H10A earmuffs (which are only a couple dollars more as of the time of this writing). FYI, I use earmuffs for studying, blocking out noise while taking public transportation (e.g. trolleys, subways), protecting my hearing while vacuuming or using power tools, and generally eliminating ambient noise around me. I do not shoot skeet or target practice regularly. Pros: -quite comfortable to wear, despite not being as comfortable as the H10A earmuffs -look cooler than the H10A earmuffs (if I were going to wear them in public, for instance, I would use these), both in terms of the color and the low-profile design -can fold up to become more compact for travel/storage (they become roughly the size and shape of a softball) unlike the H10A earmuffs -reduce the noise level by 21dB (according to the specs), which is pretty good Cons: -not quite as comfortable to wear as the H10A earmuffs, which are extremely comfortable -don't block out as much noise as the H10A earmuffs (29 dB according to specs); the difference is slight but noticeable -folding them up into a ball requires that you collapse the height-adjusters, meaning that every time you do so, you'll have to readjust them to your head later; in my opinion, this would not be practical to do very often -height adjusters aren't perfect in terms of ease or speed of use (you kind of have to wiggle each of them down individually), but they are good enough as long as you're not planning on adjusting them very frequently (and they're the same as the ones on the H10A earmuffs) -because of the fold-up design, they are not quite as easy to put on as the H10A earmuffs or other non-folding models (they're not hard to put on, they just require a little bit more effort by comparison) All things considered, I prefer the H10A earmuffs over these whenever I'm not in public. However, these are still a very good pair of earmuffs and they would probably work well for most applications.

Customer Review: Top of the line hearing protection for the sport shooter & LEO
As a competitive IDPA shooter I've had a chance to use quite a few high end hearing systems. for the price and features, I think this unit wins. Great 360deg amplification and sound quality, nearly instant sound cut off and fast recovery. Great near milspec buttons and overall build quality, AUX connector for tactical use. Ya, these are the ones you want, if you can pony up the big bucks! If you're planning on dropping over $150 for a hearing system, make sure and stop by the Peltor website and dial-in exactly which model you need, since they have a half a dozen high end systems. You should also take a look at the Pro Ears product, since they are nearly as a great of a product, if not better in some areas. Hope this helps you find the right ear gear!
